Technical University of Munich

The Technical University of Munich (TUM), founded in 1868 by King Ludwig II of Bavaria, is one of Europe's leading technical universities. TUM specializes in engineering, technology, medicine, and the natural and applied sciences. It has a strong reputation for its research output and innovation, often collaborating closely with industry and other academic institutions. The university boasts a diverse student body of over 50,000 students and a faculty that includes numerous Nobel laureates and prestigious award winners.

Main Campus

The conference will be hosted at the Main Campus in the center of Munich. The main building of TUM at Arcisstraße 21 is a landmark of educational and architectural significance. It houses several key administrative offices, lecture halls, and research facilities. The building's historical architecture is complemented by modern renovations, providing a blend of tradition and innovation. The main building serves as the central hub of the university, reflecting TUM's commitment to academic excellence and community engagement.

How to get there ?

Reaching the Technical University of Munich is straightforward, thanks to its central location and excellent public transportation links. The main campus at Arcisstraße 21 is easily accessible by bus (Lines 58, 68 and 100), tram (Lines 27 and 28), and the subway lines U2 and U8. The nearest subway station is Theresienstraße (U2 line), which is a short walk from the campus. From Munich Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), you can take the U2 subway line directly to Theresienstraße. Additionally, several bus and tram lines stop close to the campus, making it convenient for commuters from different parts of the city.

For those traveling by car, the campus is accessible via major roadways, but parking in the area can be limited. Visitors are encouraged to use public transportation whenever possible. Munich's extensive bike paths also make cycling a viable and eco-friendly option for getting to the university.
